Getting a '73 Challenger when I was 16 was probably not the wisest choice my mother made, but then gas was around 35 cents a gallon back then.I wish I had a picture of my old Cheyenne Super.
1969. 396 ci. 400 turbo transmission. Short wide bed. White on red.
Factory air.
I couldn't afford the fuel or tires.

Gaaah!I like them.
I’ve seen them in dark green and black, what was the other color? If memory serves .... For the mid 90's car ... The Caprice Classic was the plain jane car. The Buick Roadmaster was the same thing but somehow grew to be an even bigger bumper car than the Caprice. The Impala was directly based on the Caprice, and only offered as the Impala SS as the .. uh .. "performance" variant. Only three colors if I remember right.

I have owned over 100 cars, and never made a dollar on a single one of them.I'll be be the hater. I see a nice car, I see a depriciating asset.
I never had a desire to own a Foreskinner.Weak motors in those. And in the 4 Runners. Seems that 6 cyclinder is just underpowered. A friend had a Highlander, and same thing.
I have a 4Runner with a blown head gasket. I am hesitant to replace it. If I could find a motor that has more power I would do it. I had to have it on the floor to get it to 75 on the highway.
Believe it or not, I always preferred the hardtop to the convertible. We have the two door hard-top sitting down here at the farm!
Not the same, but silver and very similar.

Still a Ford ...It never ceases to amaze me the money that people blow on these vehicles to them drive them like a daily grocery getter. I've "rented" several ballistically expensive cars (Vipers, Ferraris, Mercedes, etc) but have never owned one. Heck My Navigator is the ony luxury vehicle Ive owned and it is just a grossly over priced Expedition! lol Rest assured if I had the coin ($100k) I wouldn't have bought that. I would have taken $50k and bought one of the cross plane V8 Mustangs instead. But to each their own.
