They are desperate to keep Trump from winning, they don't even hide it anymore.
TDS at its finest, they are so bent they cannot see their lunatic tactics are helping him.
Not being on CO ballot would propel him like nothing else could.

There's a reason many liberals are shifting sides. Doesn't mean they like Trump, but even a vote dropped from the left would help Trump in a general election. The left will use any means they can to hold onto power, even at the risk of destroying the nation.TDS at its finest, they are so bent they cannot see their lunatic tactics are helping him.

Small question re the exceptions:... That all political disabilities imposed by the third section of the fourteenth article of amendments of the Constitution of the United States are hereby removed from all persons whomsoever, except Senators and Representatives of the thirty-sixth and thirty-seventh Congresses, officers of the judicial, military, and naval service of the United States, heads of departments, and foreign ministers of the United States.
The president was never a post considered in the 14th Amendment. The 14th Amendment was made as insurrection as in civil war or overthrow of the U.S. government, not in protest of the U.S. government. If that were the case, it would invalidate the 1st Amendment. If J6 was an overthrow, it was the lamest attempt. If they were shooting guns rather than cameras inside the capitol, then I can see an argument for insurrection. None of which Trump actually called for.Small question re the exceptions:
Why wouldn't the President also be considered an Officer of the military as Commander-in-Chief?
Agree. My question was just 'in general' rather than tied to now.The president was never a post considered in the 14th Amendment. Makes sense. ThanksHe is not a Commissioned Officer.
I agree 100%They did not take him serious in 2016 or it would have been full court press
And from what I understand "officer" per the 14th amendment is appointed officers (e.g. Sec of state). He is not a Commissioned Officer.
Would you please forward a copy of your post to the SCOTUS. Thank you.Posted this in other thread, but adding it here.
Does not matter if it was an insurrection or not. Does not matter if he was convicted of insurrection or not.
What just about every pundit is missing is that only Congress can enforce the provisions of the 14th Amendment, and then, only by legislation.
Section 5
The Congress shall have the power to enforce, by appropriate legislation, the provisions of this article.
Keep in mind that all 7 of the Colorado Supreme Court justices are democrat appointees, you should read the dissenting opinions of the 3 justices of the 4 to 3 decision.Would you please forward a copy of your post to the SCOTUS. Thank you.
In other news, SCOTUS just told Jack Smith to pound sand.
Okay, they didn't say it in that way, but if the MSM can make up headlines, so can I. Funny, there were no dissenting notes.
Just knowing what CO has done and after listening to some of the arguments and justices' questions, if I had to bet, I think it will be 9-0 too.So, Clay and Buck were talking this over today and think it may go unanimous in Trump's favor. I am skeptical, but it would be major.
