I don't know how you have an negligent discharge with a revolver.

    Other than being completely incompetent.

    I guess that makes sense.

The permit was confiscated and forwarded to the Chester County Sheriff, and the weapon - an Airweight revolver - was confiscated by the crime scene unit and transported to for testing.

What are they going to test on it, I can't see how a revolver could possibly fire without the trigger being pulled. TSA is nothing but a bad joke.

Pulling the trigger will get the bullets out of it. That is how I unload mine.

lol. I heard a story recently about exactly that. "decock it". Bang. "decock it, not pull the trigger.". "how else do you decock it."

But not the cases so where does one insert the next set of rounds? ;)

The officer who accidentally discharged the flight attendant’s gun is on desk duty pending completion of an internal investigation, police said

Taking bets he is fired and charged with at least a disorderly conduct just like the flight attendant.

Ok now that's pretty funny. I don't understand how its connected to El Paso though.

I dunno. Looks like it happened in PA from what I can tell. We've had FBI/DHS/whatever fed agents leave their sidearms in the shitter at the airport several times over here though...

it's a shame that most of the headlines for this story make it sound like the flight attendant is the one who had the ND.
