Hello new here…does the tapatalk app act as an interface for this website where I can post without opening a browser?

I saw no benefit to it and then started getting flooded with unwanted notifications, so I dumped it.

It's good if you want to view and post from your phone. I've had Tapatalk for years but don't really use it anymore unless I'm somewhere and really bored.

If you hit the 3 "dots" in the top right corner, you're able to pick "desktop site".

Also, on my Android, I get the same effect by turning my phone horizontally.

This will show you what it looks like on a computer.

I use tapatalk as well about 98% of the time. But there are some videos that won't work on it. Finding what I want is generally easier though. At least for me. And I hate the tiny broweser on my phone.

Tapatalk is about the only way I've viewed forums for the last five or six years. I pay the upgraded version to avoid the ads. The only forum I view through a browser is arfcom.

Yes I use Tapatalk Pro exclusively for browsing several forums.

It’s a much better experience then trying to read the web page on a phone.

Tapatalk itself sells platform-level ads; Pro subscription suppresses those.

As for TGT ads like the one below on the .com version, I never see then on TaT at all.

I use Tapatalk almost exclusively for TGT and other firearms forums. One easy place to get to all of them.

I use it on my android phone and my iPad.

makes it easy to get to the topics I follow across all the boards.

I use TaT exclusively if I'm on my phone. I pay the subscription. Zero ads. The notifications are funky. Sometimes I get the notifications I've selected and sometimes I don't.

At work I use my desktop.
