Nothing comes out of his pocket without first coming out of ours.
And that makes me wonder...where is he getting the money if Congress didn't appropriate it? Is there a huge White House slush fund? Did he have the treasury just print 167 billion? Was it hidden in a bill somewhere?

This is called buying votes. Where does any new money come from if not in the budget passed by Congress? You ever hear of "the shell game".
I know they think it's buying votes. But what they don't realize is the ones who borrowed $100K+ to get a degree in gender studies were going to vote for him anyway. It's the ones who pay taxes and it's being passed off to who had nothing to do with the loans and get stuck with paying it off that they're screwing, the blue collar tradesmen, auto workers, plumbers, HVAC folks, etc., etc., many of whom are union and reliably blue. Not to mention those who went to and paid for their own college and didn't take out "free" loans.

Maybe roughly half of that group would have voted for him. But this does NOT help his case with that group and will cost more votes than it gains IMO.
