    Hey. I went hunting down south of Ozona/Sonora and was quite successful. Used a Ruger American chambered in .30-06.

    One big doe and one old boar. I'm going to have a European skull mount done with the pig.

    It's a dang good gun. I put a Nikon Prostaff 3-9x40mm on it. I shoot Remington Core-Lokt PSP 165gr.

    Yea, that's me in the pics. I'm damn good lookin.

    I looked at the Ruger American rifles and also thought highly of them. The price is right, too!

    Excellent rifle. I'm very satisfied. If you shoulder it properly, that .30-06 recoil is completely manageable.

    Looks like a successful hunt. You know, your two pictures of that hog really illustrate how big a creature can be made to look just by positioning the camera differently.

    I was hunting with an ole boy who has done a lot of camera work for hunting outfitters, specifically Africa.
