plus that and you also just get used to it after awhile.I've been in extreme cold before, acclimation has a lot to do with it.
Kinda like acclimation.plus that and you also just get used to it after awhile.
LOL, .... I wondered how long it would take for someone to get itKinda like acclimation.
Me too.
Actually had a guy from Alaska tell me that Amarillo was the coldest place he'd ever been.
I've been wanting to go to Manhatten for quite awhile. That urine-yellow coat I was wearing last Saturday was bought for a work trip to New York and Chicago where I spent the last couple of weeks of December and the first couple of weeks of January.
January in Chicago, walking between those tall buildings in the high winds off the lake, is downright painful. The wind hits your face and it instantly burns.
Some of the locals were walking around in hoodies and sweatpants.
Yeah, acclimation has something to do with it.
Go on the 4th of July, no traffic and much easier to get around, if you must. Been there, done that, have no desire to go back.I've been wanting to go to Manhatten for quite awhile.
I just don't ever get the opportunity. I don't want to go alone either.

I call Amarillo the North pole of Texas. I got stuck there for three days because of a blizzard when I first moved to Texas in February 2013.

The wind in nyc is absolutely brutal during the winterI've been wanting to go to Manhatten for quite awhile.
