Just wondering what connection there is between the two statements.

Khrushchev said that to Nixon. I think that Nixon was Vice President then.

Nixon said that to our citizens just prior to his resignation. He was going on about Watergate and the Plumbers group activities. It went something like "The American people have a right to know if their President is a crook. I am not a crook!"

The connection? It was Nixon in both instances.
