My pleasure on the settings - drove me nuts, too!

Silencer/Suppressor......kinda like "Old Lady" and "Wife" - both mean the same, but the results can vary dependin' on the proximity of the lady in question to yer head....lol!!!

Unless you live in a very anti-gun/blue county/city, I don't see the problem in using one. Sure don't want to lose your hearing, so keep the can on~

In the event that you discharge your firearm, won't the investigating officer take it for evidence? If a silencer is attached, won't it go byebye too?
I will bet that it will be a pile of paperwork to get the silencer back when the case is closed. Depending on the circumstances it may take months or years. If appeals are included, there may be quite a wait.
Do you want to be without it for that long?

(Then again, I may watch too many cop shows on TV.)

I feel bad for anyone who tries breaking into YOUR home lol

I don't. I feel bad for the honest citizen who is put in the position of having to defend his house and family from scumbags. Getting shot seems like a simple occupational hazard of being a shitbag.

Can't believe this thread lasted so long.

To answer a question, no the 12 gauge is still
the primary after carries are put to bed.
