    Friends,

I'm seeking a TRAVEL FISHING KIT in a hard-side case, with rod, open-face spinning reel & lure/tackle compartment.

The one that I had was stolen out of my luggage & the company that I bought it from no longer has any.

    CASH waiting.

    Email to: texasnative46@gmail.com

    THANKS, satx

    jrbfishn,

Eagle Claw is what I once had. - Evidently, they are "out of stock" forever, as everywhere I tried said, "NO".

    THANKS, satx

When I worked at gander up until a year ago they always had eagle claw traveling fishing kits. Even some St. Croix ones. I'd check em out.

    Jakashh,

I tried them. - They said that, "we don't get them anymore".
(I wonder if the major companies have stopped making the good quality "travel fishing kits", like the Trailmaster.)

    yours, satx

    Gunz are icky.
Check put Bass Pro Shop and/or Cabela's.

Both Diawa and Okuma make travel kits.

Academy Sports usually has the little Shakespeare travel rod kit.

    mroper,

The "telescoping rods" are Chinese-made JUNK & routinely break/collapse with a good-sized fish on. I bought 2 of them & returned both. One broke at the 2nd guide when about a 5# largemouth struck my bait. - The Ronco "Pocket Fisherman" is even worse.

Nonetheless, I'll keep looking for someone who has a QUALITY kit.

    yours, satx

    Somewhere here nor there....
Diawa makes a great mini-kit in hard case. I have 2-3 of them and filled the compartment with hooks/weights/bait etc. They are on Ebay new for 50$-ish...

    Moonpie,

THANKS. - That's the UL model, though that may serve for my casual purpose.

    I was originally looking for the 20 weight rod/reel - L Model.
