    Departed San Antonio for Fort Benning, Georgia on Friday last; got home today.

    Upon crossing into Louisiana, Mississippi, Alabama, and Georgia, every time I stopped, friendly folks saw my "standard" Texas License Plates and said: "Welcome to the SEC."

    I graduated from South Carolina in the dark ages, lived in Georgia for 28 years and now call Texas home. Drove a garnet colored car for 6 years(a carmine colored one for two), but I'm glad I'm not confusing the Aggie folk with that anymore. ;)

    The ACC made sense when I was in school. The SEC even made sense; but with A&M in the SEC and Notre Dame in the ACC, I've just about given up figuring it all out. They should just name the conferences after various denominations of dollar bills. :)

    Rusty:

    Alumnus = one former student/graduate.

    Alumni = equals the Plural of the above.

    It pains me that Latin is no longer required as a second language.

    I was asking if you were a part of their alumni.

    And by the way, you didn't need to state "equals" after using the equal symbol, as I have highlighted above.
