Rating (1-10): 8-the sheath needs belt loops.
Would you recommend this: This is a use specific knife, for survival camping, hunting, not for everyone. Would recommend for those he would have a use for such a knife.

Blade length/overall length:4.25/8.85 OAL

History: Designed by Mike Vellenkamp of blade tech and fox USA knives
First impressions: Stout and sturdy very sharp blade. Very thick blade, ready for heavy duty use.

Appearance: Basic handle is excellent, non slip grip, adjustable tension kydex sheath, very rugged and capable design.

Features: Full Tang design, lanyard hole, extended point for less than lethal pressure point compliance. G-10 textured scales, blade tech molle lock sheath setup.

Performance: The knife performs camp duties nominally, batoning logs with ease, retains a sharp edge, very comfortable to use knife.

Issues: The sheath is designed to work with military molle systems, and does not have a belt loop attachment. This is the only issue I do not like.
Maintenance: So far none needed, wiped it down with a thin coat of oil and put it away when done using it.

Summary: Good sturdy knife for the money
