Any body know a gunsmith that has can build a receiver for a PSL-54C, and know the proper Rivets used in this build? I know there're 3 different ways screw, weld, and rivets. I believe rivets are the way to go on this build.
ive built a few of them in the past. the romak receivers are kind of a pain to work with because the pistol grip hole isnt drilled but it has a last shot bolt hold open rail which makes it totally worth it but as for rivets the easiest way to set the back rivets is to step the holes up to a .187 hole aka 3/16 and you can get come 3/16 round rod and use a rivet gun to upset the heads or use a air hammer. the front rivets can be purchased through grainger for a bout 12 bucks for like 200 of them and you can buck the front rivits with a 3/4'' bar to fill the contour of the front trunnion . it sounds like a pain it is but you mess up a few aks you get the hang of it then you can make your own aks for your self for super cheap
