The most fun FA gun I've ever shot was an open bolt 10/22 at one of our meets.

That’s got to be over 1000 rpm cyclic rate.

I can barely get Remington Golden Bullets to cycle in a bolt gun. @V-Tach is a wizard.

By the way, I use a detent delay on my Semi 10/22, and a heavy spring to keep the breach closed longer.
Idea is to raise the bullet velocity.
I figure is a CB Long round will cycle the bolt, it is opening way too soon for something like a CCI Velocitor.

It also reduces bolt bounce.
