    Looks like fertilizer to me ,the flowers will enjoy it.
    An empty, fully dried asparagus can filled 1/3 with powder can make a really good one-shot roman candle on Independence Day.

    Depending on the powder used, the result can be an impressive fireball that lasts a surprisingly long time, producing enough heat to blister the paint on a car.

    Don't ask me how I know that last part. :)

    as something of a follow-up.... I found that True Blue powder looks a LOT like that stuff I had. The loads for TB are more in the 8-9gr range, so I'm pretty sure it was not that. I'm also not sure when exactly these were "loaded".... could have been late 90's or later...
    One of those mysteries that will never be solved.... maybe the roses will like it, though.
