I found this one when I was bringing some of the guns up from Kingsville.
Only thing I find on it is "Made in Germany" on top of the barrel. There are also stampings on either side of the barrel.

My first gun. A Marlin model 81. Dad gave this to me at age 14. This one kept me in gas money in the winter as a teenager.

After the first hard freeze I started looking fir coons. $35 a hide was a fortune to a teen in the 70's. I took the cheap, skinny 22. scope off and put on a Timber King deer rifle scope on it with my first fur money. I shot countless critters with this gun.

My dad paid $35 at a pawn shop.

I'm not sure why modding this pistol is so much fun, I just know that it is! The latest version of my Ruger MK IV 22/45, full Volquartesen competition fire control group, Hogue GMascus grips with Wilson Combat torx screws, Tandemkross Fire Starter titanium firing pin, Eagle Talon extractor and Game Changer Pro comp. I also swapped out my Vortex red dot for a Primary Arms MD-ADS. Can't wait to try it out!

H.C. Lombard .22 short derringer made between 1859 - 1861. There were about 400 made. I have shot it with really wimpy .22 shorts, but now it resides in a display case.

Im super happy with the Tandemkross Game Changer Pro comp. I must admit I was skeptical at first, my mind is changed now though, it works! I think a BB gun has more recoil than this thing does, lol. This also leads to me getting carried away and sloppy shooting, but man is it fun!

All the hits in the lower 9 are from me trying to shoot too fast, it's easy to get overconfident with this thing. These are a little over 10 yard shots with Aguila 40 grain copper plated Super Extra high velocity. Also some 40 grain CI copper plated High Velocity, never heard of CI, but it works. Oh, and I've had no failures to eject with the little Ruger so far, knock on wood. I believe those Tandemkross parts really do what they claim.

Nothing but praise for the Primary Arms MD-ADS, I'll probably buy one for my AR too.

That stock on your Savage looks like the same stock I have on my Savage .17WSM. Although probably not too Good for the southpaw, I like it.
