I'm in Springtown, which is north of Fort Worth off 199, but I'll be pretty much willing to drive most places North West DFW area. I work in Irving and am in Keller often.

Seems to be circa 1945 to 1965 train stuff.

    American flyer 12B transformer

    Ringling brothers billboard

    Random tracks and scenery parts

Stuff is rough shape by the looks of it but who knows.

    Anyone interested?

Not looking to make money but was wondering if anyone wanted before I threw away?

Sorry, I totally forgot to put that. Edited OP with location. I'd be willing to ship if any of y'all think it's worth it.

A.Tex - I can offer transportation services down South. My kid's gym season is starting in Jan, and I make it up that way 2-3 x / year. Let me know if nobody's in a hurry.

Let me know. I can always hold on to it for a bit. I just don't throw out stuff before asking. I also have an old 60's Penn Spinfisher 700. Looks to be a mid 60's model. Seems to have some surface rust, but looks better than my Daiwa reel that's from the 90's and bearings seem smooth. They sure made stuff to last. Too bad my pops didn't take care of his stuff. A trait I'm glad I did not inherit.

I kind of think the OP offer to give away, hold on to, ship, etc. is a pretty nice gesture as well, lol.....

    Dallas Texas or so
Just a guess that stuff is late 40s or eary 50s and maybe even older.
I was big into O gauge train when I was a kid. My layout had over a mile (estimated by a train guy adult) in it. The table was so big that it had pop up holes so you could crawl under and pop up to fix different areas on the track. It took the whole basement less the laundry area and the furnace.

My brother lives just south of Fort Worth and would probably be really interested. He has our dads old Lionel set up and that all fits into the same era and type. Let me know if no one else makes arraignments, or previous commitments fall through and I will contact him to meet you.

My Dad built me one like that for under me and my brother's beds when I was little. It rolled under the bed when we were done playing with it. It had all these buttons that would make stuff light up or move. I miss those layouts.

Also, I'm still waiting to hear back from my Dad if he wants it.

I still have the American Flyer trains, track, buildings, etc., that my Dad bought me in 1956, and still occasionally add to it. So, Mike was certainly first and if he drops out, I am willing to pay shipping.

OK Ranger, it looks like you're next in line. If paying to ship, let me pull it out of the box and get better pics for you. Is there anything you would want to know specifically? I am not knowledgeable about trains at all.

OK, time for a major apology, I just looked at the pic again and unfortunately, just read the transformer description, assumed all American Flyer, and took a quick look at the pic before posting my interest. The track pieces are three rail Lionel, not two rail American Flyer, so, not what I would use after all. You rarely see this stuff posted, so, got excited. Acera, go for it.

Nope that is completely understandable. I didn't know enough to think they weren't all part of the same brand or design.

I'll break down pics and get then reposted so y'all have a better idea of what it is.

Sorry! I'll have them up tomorrow.
