In the 60's I worked on a AA/FD, guy across the street had a speed shop. One time we pushed it up the street, on the way back he started it (no starter's then had to push start). Got it started pulled in front of the shop, when he gunned it the windows shook. Only a block from downtown, I'm sure they heard it.

I remember when a couple of pennies were shrink wrapped into the pack. Probably like putting a quarter in the machine and they only cost .23.
