Ice and snow started yesterday at noon...

So...up at 0230, mamma wakes me with "you hear that?" Noooo....
"sounded like somethin in the kitchen, like it fell....

Also at the moment she woke me the lab bolted out the door with the badass "rrruff" but it stopped as soon as she got out, then she came back in, false alarm, but she didnt turn into the bedroom, she went on into the kitchen and checked the rest of the house. When mamma said she heard something, by that time, the lab had about finished up the rounds without a peep. I got up WITHOUT grabbing the bedside and mamma said "you not takin anything" I said "No....Lolah has already been throughout and she didnt say nothing"

The sad part, looking out the kitchen door I saw the big tree that had fallen in the back yard, ugh, that was my shade on the AC unit too. Luckily it fell away from the house and didnt hit anything.

Ice continued on throughout this morning and a quick rain just added ice to the trees. 30-32 the whole time here. About 1200 things are sloooowwwly starting to melt.

Bummer about the tree......
