Yesterday I changed the blades on my mower. Lots of laying down and getting back up. Last night my left knee and hamstring started hurting pretty badly. This morning, my knee is swollen up like an angry toad! Getting old ain't for wimps!

Missed this yesterday, but I did a quick search and found a "good" leftist source for the story. The names of the 'artists' and lecturers they highlight (which, logically, would be the most prominent) are impressively...obscure. Never heard of a single one of 'em.

Okay, and? LOL So what they're saying is little socialists snowflakes are throwing away their chance for a "big break" in support of terrorists and the population that has blindly supported them for decades. Yeah, nobody's missing out on anything here.

Mornin. Finally home after 10 days. Gotta move the airplane later today and then I’m starting my weekend. Diverted to International last night because Stinson closed their runways for construction. Was about 20 minutes too late to make it in.

If by chance you ever end up in Canada for long term, head for the Province of Alberta, aka Texas North.

True dat. I was able to tour a good chunk of Alberta in 2012-ish. One memorable thing from that trip (besides the beautiful country): I came upon a cattle guard and they had a sign saying "Texas Gate" to warn you it was coming. That's what they call them there and I kinda like it. I took a pic and if I can find it in the archives, I will add it.

I grew up just south of there in Castner Falls, MT. Edmonton and Calgary were our vacation spots. Went to the 1988 Winter Olympics and got to see a hockey game with my High School.
