Given that I was posting on TGT, I was referring to active posters on TGT. If you read the board broadly (which is something I'm obliged to do, daily), you'll trip over an unending series of offhand comments from members about the latest way the NRA has screwed up.While WE are on that topic, just who exactly is all this "We" you are talking about? I don't recall filling out any polls.
I stand by my original statement that "We all know the NRA is screwing up lots of things." If you don't agree, you haven't been paying attention and may feel free to consider yourself as outside the group of us who, collectively, are aware of the shortcomings of that organization.
It's always good to know what the enemy is thinking.I've heard a pretty fair dose of what those leftist scum bags want and none of it is good for me...
From Mother Jones? No idea. More than I could possible remember. It's important to keep up on oppo research. How many articles have you read?
Given that I didn't say anything positive about him or his point of view, sans context, I'm perplexed you felt the need to make that comment. Oh, well; if a gap in the flow of your thoughts is the most serious problem you have in life, you're in good shape....Mike Spies is a commie scum bag and no one who is is his friend is any friend of mine.
As for the NRA, I'm a giant defender - a Golden Eagle. I'm a lifer in the SAF and TSRA. I'm a member of 3 or 4 other gun rights organizations. On the competition side, I'm a lifer for the GSSF and the IHMSA. I'm a member of two gun clubs I almost never visit just because I'm willing to pay money (including donations above my dues) to help other people have a place to shoot. I've coordinated shooting venues for Olympic shooting team qualifiers.
IOW - I'm dedicated to the cause, dedicated enough that I badly want the NRA to succeed. But it needs to be better in so many ways. It breaks my heart to survey the current condition of the organization.
