    Yup. Gun-control really works..... really.

Right. These statistics "prove" it, too.......

CA has the gun laws already in place that they want for the rest of the nation. Funny when I worked their, the crooks never had a problem finding guns

There is something wrong with that graph. It shows that across the US you run the same risk of being a victim of larceny, rape, murder, assault, etc.

I don't doubt that the general theme of the data is correct, but I wouldn't use it in an argument with any antis.

Yeah I don't trust any source, gun or anti, regarding stats. Just show the raw data and I can figure it out myself. I don't like blogs as news either but they did link to the news articles about the situation too.

Gotcha, I thought it was just a hack on Cali gun control and high crime rates with a graph to illustrate.

They are national indexes. Index score for an area is compared to the national average of 100. A score of 200 indicates twice the national average total crime risk, while 50 indicates half the national risk.

Gotta understand how to read the numbers........................

One they left out that is pretty telling is the Total crime risk. Oakland 179, California 97, US Index 100
