Unless I misunderstand the advertising, there will be no powder sold at this weekend's Fort Worth Gun Show. if this is accurate, is this a common practice now at other shows? Isn't that one of the prime reasons people go to a show... to buy brass, lead and powder? I haven't bought a gun at a show in years... like ammunition, most are ridiculously higher than the retail outlets.. .. and wading through a crowd to look at overpriced merchandise is just too much like the day after Thanksgiving at Dillards or Kohl's.
    Please, say it ain't so.

I picked up a pound of powder at the Dallas Market Hall show late last year, at a reasonable price, and there was plenty of powder to be found. I'm not sure why any gun show would disallow powder sales.... odd.

i would say forget about the show unless they have a good reason for it.

    like allowing smoking.

that would be awesome. free cigar at the door!

I can telll you that in Houston, the powder prices are very expensive at the show. Normally 2 or 3 bucks more then bass pro which is really saying something.

    Order from powder valley.
