The forearm and grip I don't think you could notice, but the butt stock, you can notice.

yes it handles the same, weight is slight. I just love a wood stock.

wood grip from RTG, forearm was cut down and fitted from G3, G3 butt. End plate I think from HKparts.
Wood refinished in tru oil. clipped and pinned lower I believe that was HKparts also.

5.56 Dead Air brake arrive at Texas Rifle Works so I was able to mount the Sandman K to my MK18. Looks great!

So......had some TIG welding to do......we changed the rear trunnion for the folding ACE stock.........had already cut the right frame rail slot for the sear.......I did plug the bore for the bead blasting, but didn't need to for the parkerizing....the chamber and bore on the Norinco is chrome lined so the parkerizing wouldn't adhere to it...........already tested it before stripping down for refinishing......now to put it back together.......

Perfect temp for a bath.............
