Sure, that would work. But I would expect the shelf life to be greatly reduced. You could probably extend the storage time by adding oxygen absorbers to the bag before vacuum sealing it. Repacked meals last for months providing you use the O2 absorbers. The conditions outdoors will be more humid than indoors.
