MOSSBERG SILVER RESERVE 12 Guage

I own the above shotgun.. Does anyone know if it is restricted to 3" shells only or can I shoot a variety of shell sizes?
Conducted research but google found me no definite answers.. so I resorted to the best sportsman's forum anywhere online!

I own one as well. You should be able to shoot 3" or 2 3/4" shells in it.

Actually shot some skeet today. Fires nicely. Breaking action still a little stiff being that it was the first time I've fired the shotgun.
Do you remember yours being pretty tight at first?

A trigger job on an M500 is fairly easy if you are mechanically inclined. Mine is crazy light and short with no overtravel.
