Since the topic arose elsewhere and gained traction.
Seems that low T is a young man's problem these days.
Dirt and grease are to be avoided. Sweat outside of a gym is to be avoided.
A tattoo or piercing is a sign of , well, I don't know what the hell it's supposed to mean.
A bloody knuckle is cause for a trip to the ER.

Bullshit! Before menopause I bled more in a month than my wife did.

Y'all jump in. I gotta stop before I type somethin offensive.

Wiping grease on your jeans is out.
    Wearing jeans is out.
Belts and covered underwear are out.

Disciplining your kids at all is out.
    Farmer's tans are out.

Tattoos and beards, yeah. I am still not used to seeing some limp wristed chef or something all tatted up showing women how to chop an onion or decorate a living room.

Old man Adair. He got stung by a wasp, looked around and spotted the nest. Reached up and grabbed it full in the palm of one hand. Squish. 3 more stings. He cursed, " I got about 20 of 'em, only 3 got me".

My wife has three pairs of boots like that . My father left me a large set of tools when he passed . I also have collected a large set . I am wondering who to leave them too. The boy does not seem very interested in them at all. The girl seems to have more of am apptitude for them.
I have more than enough for both I guess. The boy cant seem to dig a good hole.

I know there are more out there, but what I think we're seeing is 1) like others have mentioned, not enough passing down of skills and how to be a man and 2) being rough and tough isn't as needed to be in a successful career these days as back then. At least, it's getting less common with technology, robots, etc. No World Wars to define a mass population of tough men. Although, we've had our share of war to shape a good sized number. I still have faith in manliness!

Also, I bet a huge majority of women would prefer such men over what everyone is complaining about. Just think of it this way - we're prime beef!

Not just the men ... although you would think so watching how the American male is portrayed as a doofus in TV commercials.

Blondie, the other night while watching some metrobitch complaining on TV about "manspreading":

"If there was ever an example of crowded rat syndrome, there it is!"

Drives me nuts to see the cowardly pussies my age who can't turn a screwdriver let alone change a tire. Being tough and manly has become vilified and boys are being told it's better to be fashionable and tolerant than to be independent, courageous and handy.

We have coddled boys into weakness and we have taken away the need to defend yourself and toughen up as a boy! Anti-bullying? How in the flying **** are you supposed to toughen up if the response to you getting your ass kicked every day is "oh little billy, it's okay, don't defend yourself we'll just take Johnny's parents to court"

I wear wrangler and ariat jeans, I work on my own truck, I believe men should open the door for women and give up their seat to any woman or older individual regardless of whether or not they "need" it.

I think one of the biggest groups to blame are feminists. I've heard heathens tell girls that a man opening the door for you is a slap in the face.....it sure as hell ain't, it's me understanding that a woman is vital to my role as a man and it is me being respectful of that woman!
