    Vaquero is right. Good glass and consistant ammo is essential, but past 100-150 yards, your worst enemy is the wind. And it don't take much.
    But the good news is, trying to shoot any rimfire at distance will make you learn how to read and compensate for it. Or not get any hits. No matter what equip.ent you have.
