If your press is used enough how are you priming when you get tired of punching holes in nickels(this was the tech's response to my question of hhow to deal with a wallered out area where the primer punch hits the press).
So far it looks like the FA is the winner at $60 shipped.
No, I just drilled maybe a 1/4" or less. Just enough to hold the pin straight.
I used a 12" long 1/8" drill bit that I already had but is available at any home improvement warehouse. I pulled the primer assembly out and drilled straight through the top. You already have a mark there so alignment is done.
The pin is just a cut off nail that I can easily replace if need be. It is just dropped in the hole.
