    No, no you don't want alligators - You want crocodiles...

    'Mostly' alligators are docile critters who when they come in contact with adult sized humans they might come close out of curiosity to check you out if you're in the water with them, but will leave you alone.

    I know as I've salt water wade fished among them lots and lots of times with very, very big ones without a single incident.

    Crocs on the other hand (and not the pink ones) will attack, chomp and eat you.

    I stay away from the pink crocs too.

    Apparently, they understand the purpose of said features (sharp, etc) is to deter climbing and just don't like those features... Same people that opposed the border wall...
