    Mine too! Went there as a teen. Nebraska, in the 70's.
    It closed up a long time ago, before the 80's. Sigh...
    I never knew it was a chain until recently. There were around 30 locations. The location I referred to was in Rockford, IL. It opened in 1930, moved across town in 1968, and then closed in the late 90's iirc.

    On time about 30 years ago, I worked with someone who knew I was going to a Mexican restaurant that night, and told me I should order the stuffed jalapenos. I did and ate all 6. The next morning I was shitting fire. It hurt so bad.
    I told my co-worker and his reaction was "you ate the whole plate? bwahaaaaaaaa!!!!"

    Mine was in Lincoln NE - and it was just like your pics.
