My that is off the this guy. I was drafted and went to Viet Nam . That was enough Army for me. But I wouldnt trade the experience for a million dollars!
Even better, after more than 46 years of service, Air Force Maj Gen Alfred Flowers retired yesterday, 16 November 2011; as the Air Force’s longest serving active duty member and the longest serving general in U.S. military history!
There is a pilot (CW5 i believe) that is flying medivac/dustoff missions in the middle east right now that was flying the same missions in Viet Nam. Ill see if i can pull the info on it.
