My that is off the this guy. I was drafted and went to Viet Nam . That was enough Army for me. But I wouldnt trade the experience for a million dollars!

Didn't wait to be drafted - no money for college. Enlisted in the Air Force in 1969. Was in Vietnam within9 months of enlistment. Won't do that again!

Even better, after more than 46 years of service, Air Force Maj Gen Alfred Flowers retired yesterday, 16 November 2011; as the Air Force’s longest serving active duty member and the longest serving general in U.S. military history!

There is a pilot (CW5 i believe) that is flying medivac/dustoff missions in the middle east right now that was flying the same missions in Viet Nam. Ill see if i can pull the info on it.
