Absolutely horrible story. If the story is correct, she was not the typical drug-dealer or gang member caught up in their own crap, but a young lady attending a selective private college prep school in the wrong place at the wrong time.

That's just it, it wouldn't have. If she had been killed by a gangbanger who was trying to rob her, then I could see that argument working. In this case, not so much.
