All I know about Gene Simmons was from a few episodes of his reality show. Only watched it because there was nothing else on at the time. Never liked Kiss's music. Can honestly say I could not name a single song of theirs.

At both shows within the last 3 years I have attended, they start the show with everyone saying the Pledge of Allegiance. At the last show, my wife, not a fan, said the show was awesome. I think they are under rated.

Not all music and/or show biz is going to be liked by all.

Lots of these musical types aren't drugged out degenerates, but instead were making big bucks for an audience of mostly immature teenagers and then slowly revealed themselves as people who're actually good folks.
