A quick search indicates ammo , though high, is available as is reloading components. If I were younger, that is a beautiful rifle.

Brass can be made from necked up and trimmed 7.62x63 (.30'06) and bullets are not difficult to find.

Such a useful cartridge. I took one to Namibia for plains game about 15 years ago, and when we got there, our PH was carrying -- a 9.3X62!

Was this rechambered to 9.3x62? Typically if they are marked just 9.3 they are chambered in 9.3x57. This looks like a model 146 to me which would originally have been 9.3x57. Have you shot 9.3x62 in it?

I have shot x62 through it, no issues that I recall other than the $$ each time I pulled the trigger

I can't say if it was x57 and rechambered to x62 or not.

And per Fisherman, it was rechambered (as many were) from 9.3x57 to 9.3x62 at some point during its life.
