I visit a couple of odd web sites that don't work on Firefox and I have to use Chromium. Other than that, I've stayed on Firefox through it all, even the bad times when there were serious performance issues.
The AdBlock Plus extension has disappeared from my Chrome browser in the last couple of days and I am unable to reinstall it even though it still shows available in the Chrome web store.
Other than to switch, any advice for Chrome users?
Don't know, but I will find out as I am going to try and install it.ETA-- I added AD BLOCK, not AD BLOCK PLUS. Is there a big difference?

ETA: Not related to Adblock Plus: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/AdBlock
ETA#2: Just installed it so I'll come back to say how well it works
ETA#3: Works great so far. Went back to a site
( https://www.digitaltrends.com/web/best-ad-blockers-for-chrome/ ) that was totally littered with ads and banners and they were all gone now.
"We rolled-out a fix for release, beta and nightly users on Desktop. The fix will be automatically applied in the background within the next few hours, you don’t need to take active steps.
In order to be able to provide this fix on short notice, we are using the Studies system. You can check if you have studies enabled by going to Firefox Preferences -> Privacy & Security -> Allow Firefox to install and run studies.
You can disable studies again after your add-ons have been re-enabled.
We are working on a general fix that doesn’t need to rely on this and will keep you updated"
Maybe for me too, but right now it is still working in chrome.EDIT- It just disabled AD Block for me too. Was working fine up until a minute ago. Lost a few others too.
