She was disarmed by the invader and he didn't shoot her even after she shot him in the stomach first? She's lucky she got some spineless invaders or maybe he "jerked it out of her hand" and onto the floor and ran without picking it up. Anyway, glad she's safe.

She kept her cool throughout the entire incident and was constantly thinking of how to get to her weapon. That shows total concentration and composure and, in the end, it paid off for her. Luckily all she got out of it was a black eye (can be seen on the video) and when she's holding the weapon, she indexes which shows she's very familiar with the use of weapons.
