Boyert on Westhiemer in Houston has one for rent. Looked at it yesterday, nice gun, but not something I am contemplating purchasing.

PM me if you are interested in it, I know how to avoid the rental fee there.

After 100 rds recoil is snappy the extended base plate gives more control. If you have big hands, it's hard to hold. At one point it almost flew out of my friends hands. It is louder than a shield.

The target on the right was at 10 yrds left was at 7 yrds.

I rushed through shooting the 43 25 rds to see how controllable, it is.

Nope there are 22 lr 223 and 9mm

My friend can't shoot pistols very well.
I'm use to shooting steel targets that fall down.

As I said the targets were flopping around I still shot. They weren't secure.

Hold on to it, or like my friend it will fly out of your hands.

Just too happy with my Shield to give this Glock a try. Sure am loving my Gen 3 G17 with FDE frame I just picked up a few months ago though!

Please explain how 2 guns of nearly the same size and same caliber that one is louder than the other?

Good question, it has been awhile since I shot a shield. Just seemed louder I retract my statement, my friend after the first Rd was startled. Said it was really loud. If I was someone choosing for the first time id go with a shield.

Runs in the family. My granddad in ww2 couldn't hit anything with a pistol. Dead on with a rifle. Same with me.

i'm just going to have to rent one and do a side by side vs my shield. I like some of the baseplate options out there for it and the lighter weight of the package is nice.

I bought mine and will shoot it tomorrow. I really like how slim it is; very comfortable. I bought it to replace the G26 since I have the G23 and I was thinking if the 43 would replace my small Kahr P380 but that one is staying. 380 and all but its too tiny for those times when is better than having nothing on me.
I was trying to upload some pics but is not working. Will try later
    Well apparently it did lol
