With the caliber of new CDL drivers from third-world shitholes that I've seen, this is just the tip of the iceberg. I saw a truck in the Love's in McPherson Kansas yesterday that had the trailer doors held "mostly closed" by taking the two 6" hold open chains and using a bunch of zip ties to attach them together. I asked the guy if his door latches were frozen or broken. Nope, just not smart enough to figure them out. I showed him and he said he usually pulls trailers with roll up doors.
