I was given these prior to deploying as a gift for my company. We couldn't wear them in uniform so I chose to leave them behind. There's about 50-75 of them if anyone wants them. Wish you were closer. Can't believe you left them behind. Are you in a forward deployed unit or back at a base? I first learned about balaclavas on my first cold weather deployment, and out in the field, I was never without one again if it was a cold weather climate.

They were never standard issue for us, but we wore camo most of the time anyway in the field, and warmer is always better when it doesn't add much weight.

I got back from deployment a few weeks ago. They aren't authorized to wear in uniform since they aren't issued.
