Favorite Motorcycle of all time?

Someone posted this topic over on the Garage Journal and it was pretty interesting. Lots of trips down memory lane. No specific criteria; just the bike that was your favorite.

Yikes. I have a bunch of favorites, including a 1970 Honda CB350, a 1976 Suzuki GS-750, a 2004 BMW R1150R, and a 2006 BMW K1200R.
My current favorites are a 2020 Triumph Bonneville T120 and a 2023 Suzuki Hayabusa.
Still to come if I live long enough is an Indian cruiser of some kind. I can't croak until I've owned a V-twin.

Excellent! Mine was a 1978 GS550. Fast enough for a newbie rider. I had to blackmail my folks into cosigning on a loan for it. Neighbor kid had one of those Yamaha triple two-strokes that I could afford outright...
Thing was a rocket. RZ500 or something???

I wanted the red but ended up with the blue.

Illusion Blue was the Honda color name. Joke was it was an illusion that it was blue. I looked up the paint color and it's PPG name was Deep Chromium Purple.

The list is long though I o ly ever had one street bike a Yamaha RD 400 in 76-77 I don't know?
Many dirt bikes I miss dirt / desert riding.

Mid 1970 bought a new Honda 750F super sport , wasn't planning on buying one. Went into a bike dealer and he had a leftover, I think it was about $1,900, I had a hundred dollar bill in my wallet. Buddy talked me into buying it.

Maybe he’s considering the 2 stroke GT750. I agree, the CB750 and KZ900 knocked all the other manufacturers back to their drawing boards.
