    My GF just called me.

She was in the backyard with our dog, when another dog came up to the fence on the other side, & started
    digging to get in.

My GF yells at the dog, & bangs on the fence to scare the dog away.

All of the sudden, there is a guy she has never seen before who is cursing at her, & telling
her "you better not hurt my dog, bitch!"

She tried to explain what she was doing, & that she would never hurt the dog, & then hurriedly
got our dog into the house.

I'm watching the clock debating on leaving early.

Too bad it is against the law to just stick a gun in someone's face when they decide to act like a hyper-aggressive retard.

I left after I hit send.
He came back and apologized to her through the door before I got home.

Don't think I'm quite ready to let it go.

Let it go. It is a rarity these days for someone to own a mistake. Sounds like he did just that. And did it without the aforementioned pistol pointed at his crotch.

She was the one that was wronged and she accepted the apology. Trust her judgement..............There's no point in getting yourself involved in it.

Is hearing an apology the same as "accepting it"?

I have no idea who it was, & neither does she.

No, but what would you do about it anyway? Escalate it? Get yourself in trouble? Honestly the only thing I would do is take notice, document everything, and make sure to run through a few what if scenarios.
