No, not 7.62x54r, 7.62x38r. You know if you do.

Anyways, just wondering what you guys have found about loading for it. I know most say, "don't bother", but I like a challenge. Do you guys have any tricks, or specific loads you've found that work well?

    Helotes!
I've got a couple of Nagant revolvers, but don't shoot them enough to reload. I can usually pick up ammo at local gun shows cheap enough to just buy it outright. I know it's a small community of folks that reload 7.62 Nagant!

    Cheers! M2

I do...sort of. Use .32/20 brass, neck sized in a .30 carbine or .32 S&W lomg die, seat a .310/.311 WC or SWC down in the case with a Lee neck expander die from one of the above sets. Roll crimp with a .32/20 die.

Lee brought out a dedicated 7.62x38R die set to do the same thing, cobbled up from different sets, if you don't load the others.
.32/20 cases are short, you won't get the neck sealing that you get with "real" 7.62x38R brass, but you can load for and shoot the thing.
