Deer Hunting with AR15, how many Shells in a clip?

Quick question. When your deer hunting how many shells can you put in a clip an if not can you use a banana clip if you plug it?

I typically load 3 in my magazine when deer hunting unless there is a chance I will be shooting hogs or coyotes in which case I may load 5-8. I use 20round mags because I am too cheap to buy the dedicated 5-10 round mags.

10 in a clip and then u can use it to load as many into the magazine as you like.

The clip vs. magazine misunderstanding is understandable when even the gun companies get it wrong.

Here even a well known and respected gun company like Weatherby calls it a clip.
