To be on your preferred hour earlier time zone.
I don't really care what time they leave it at as long as it's left there. I hate screwing up my sleeping pattern.
Why not just leave it at the natural time? If someone wants to wake up an hour earlier and leave work an hour earlier, let them make those arrangements with their employers.

There is no real “natural time.” Natural time would put the sun directly overhead at noon. Time zones are not natural because the sun rises and sets earlier in the east side of the zone than the west side and they are supposed to be in the same time zone. The further north you go, the longer the day in the summer and the shorter the day in the winter. At the equator, the variation is much smaller with about 12 hours of sunlight year round.

Sun dials read in natural time...

Tell that to your employer. You know we could start a grass roots refusal to set the clocks back in the fall.
Gov. not needed.
Tell that to your employer.
I would prefer to be on daylight savings time year round. I like having that extra hour of daylight to get things done outside. I have a hard time just getting the yard mowed when we are on standard time because it gets dark so early. I look forward to going on DST each year. I hate being on standard time. Just like the arrival of spring, it is like life coming back on line.
