Seriously. Tell them they can be turned into a bullet-firing weapon of mass destruction by just putting in a paperclip at the right spot.

He'll, I been thinkin about selling my neos and upgrading to a Ruger or buckmark. I wouldn't mind getting $250 for a gun I paid $229 for and chipping in 30 bucks for the 22/45 I was lookin at last week.

it said $50 for handguns and up to $200 for semiautomatic weapons. i'm guessing any type of handgun would only fetch $50.

    where is everybody seeing $250?

You could offer them the same amount that the buy back was offering just in cash instead of a food card. People will always choose cash.

I am strongly in favor of gun buy backs. "Sheeple" that will trade a gun for $75 SHOULD NOT HAVE GUNS.

They make serious gun owners look stupid, will probably just hurt themselves with it, and it reduces the number of junk guns available for gangbangers. Seldom do these programs get anything of value like a Remington shotgun or AR15.

Frickin do- gooders and their causes.

I like the idea of offering more in the parking lot. The only drawback I see is that if you buy a gun that was used in a crime, and you are later somehow found with this weapon, the lawyer fees will probably be really expensive.
