What time of year?
Guns - Every one I own is black. Every. Single. One. (Have a ruger that came with a wooden stock, now has a black hogue)
Load out - ACU. This close to Fort Hood, it's everywhere and cheap.
Clothing - RealTree Xtra green. Pigs and deer don't care what I'm wearing as long as they can't see it. It will double as my SHTF clothing because it's durable, comfortable and camo.
The acu isn't the best against urban background, foliage background or desert background, but it does a decent job in all three. The way I see it, only one thing is going to make you disappear — and that is to disappear.
ETA: I do have a complete lower w/FDE furniture that can be swapped onto any of my AR-platforms
Cool! You're about the only person I know of that says the ACU does decent in any backdrop other than gravel parking lot.

Big fan of multicam, US woodland, DCU and Realtree APG Xtra for clothing and gear
EDIT: Meant to say multicam, was thinking that was ACU for come reason, added some more common at surplus stores
If I had an AR, or other polymer frame firearms, It would be (if not black) FDE or tan, OD, foliage green, or some combination of these
