Chasing that 1 buck

I’m so glad for this cold front coming in. I’ve been in the stand a ton this month, with the bow, trying to lock him down before gun season opens. I had 15 different deer within 30 yds in a single evening sit, but this arrow is for 1 buck in particular. Not gonna make the greats list, but he’s a solid east Texas buck.

Anyone else letting a ton of legal shooters walk this year to get that fella you’ve been watching too long?

That looks like a deer worth waiting for. I typically only harvest one good buck each season. Usually I have to be really patient but every once and a while I get a great early season deer. I'm the only gun on a 70+ acre cattle ranch. These are from the last couple seasons.
