Mrs BC is doing good thanks fer asking. As for the rest of this. I have a feeling I'm going to give roughnecking a try. I got a friend out there so I should get on pretty easy. It will go smooth so long as they understand that I have exactly 0 idea of what the hell I'm doing. LOL. But this is still a discussion my wife and I are having. I'm not sure I'm ready to be away from my family that long yet. And she ain't sure either. Good thing is if I go that route we have lots of family around here to help her adjust.

I'm to ugly for prostitution. However if I run around in my underwear maybe people will pay me to put clothes on. You may have just sparked a breakthrough.

I recently read the electrician is expected to be the fastest growing career in the next 10 years, followed closely by accountant. So you idea of plumbing or electrical work sounds like a good idea for the future.

Big....It's nice to hear from you! I have an idea.............

I taught Instrumentation at Lee College for 8 years in the evenings. Every factory, chemical plant and manufacturing plant has instruments that control & monitor the processes. For an instrument fitter, $25/hour is normal. For an Instrumentation Tech, $35/hour is normal. I don't know what the schools are like in your area but I'll attach a link so you can see what the program is like at Lee.
